I get heartburn when i drink…does this happen to nayone else and why?
whenever i drink wine coolers i get this intense horrible heartburn that i have to honestly go lie down to get rid of. its honestly the most painful thing. it feel as if my shoulder and chest are being teared open.
why does this happen. shuold i get it checked out.

Yes, it happens to me, and wine is the culprit! Wine is something that really kicks the acid production cycle into high gear for lots of people. My best advice is simply to take something like Prilosec or Tagamet before you expect to drink wine. Do be aware that Tagamet can add to effects of alcohol for some people, and take that fact into consideration.
