Water Gives Me Heartburn
28 weeks pregnant, heartburn question?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Ok so I never had heartburn until I got pregnant. I never even knew what it felt like. Even in my first trimester I didn’t get it. At around 24 weeks I started getting it at 5am. I would drink milk and it would go away. Lately its been terrible! I can’t drink any water before I lay down or in the middle of the night because it gives me heartburn. Just so happens I’m the thirstier at night, but I drink plenty of water during the day.
The abnormal thing was last night I was sleeping, I woke up to the acid coming up my throat & then I puked! Not a nauseas puke very acidic! Tonight seems ok so far.
Has anyone puked from heartburn or was mine just that bad?
It almost sounds like acid reflux. Pregnancy can do crazy things to your body. I have had four kids and every pregnancy different. You probably need to tell your doctor they have medications they can prescribe for bad heartburn while you are pregnant.
