Why the two week wait so long?

OK, so I know there is no real advice to you, but first hand some anecdotal info would be great … I'm on 27 CDs a cycle of Clomid. Have my hcg trigger shot on CD 14, so I'm 12 dpo with due 12/30/08 AF. Last week, started receiving a lot of classical progesterone symptoms (sore nipples, heavy breasts, mouth metal, liquid cm) but I am hopeful. This week started having symptoms hCG (nausea, heartburn, dizziness) so I tried at first. Of course, it was negative, it is too early to test. So now I feel fewer symptoms, though. I must say, even symptoms less severe. As in, even nausea, but no vomiting; metal mouth again, but as I have just taken a penny in my mouth, rather than being again (of course no actual coins were in my mouth since I was five years). Anyway, I lose my hope. Someone Has there were success stories Clomid to stimulate my hope in decline, or at least help me feel a little less insane?

I had heartburn as a symptom of early pregnancy. So …. does that help a little?? Sorry I have not had success clomid, so all I have for you. My success was with Femara after clomid stop working for me. Good luck – baby dust to you!
