Stomach And Heartburn

can you feel heartburn in your stomach?

i’ve recently gone to the doctors for chest pain and she diagnosed me with acid reflux& put me on prilosec otc. i’ve been on it for 3 weeks& i haven’t had bad heartburn/chest pain since. but now i have a sharp pain in my stomach. i don’t know what it is, could it be a form of acid reflux or just stomach pain?

The prilosec is working on the problem, but it’s going to take time for your stomach to heal. So you will experience pain until the situation is resolved. Avoid fried foods, fatty foods, junk food, spicy foods, acid foods, coffee and chocolate. For a while you should try to eat very simple such as a yogurt with cereal for breakfast. A baked potato and chicken for lunch . White rice and turkey with green beans for dinner. I’m just giving you an example of how you should eat. I also recommend you eat fresh papaya as it has a great deal of natural healing for the stomach.
