is heartburn a normal sign of your period coming or pregnancy?

im almost a week late and i never had heartburn before but today i am. why is this happening?

Could be anything.
But if you think there is a chance you could be pregnant than I would wait 3 weeks and take a at home pregnancy test. If it comes out positive then you know what to do fromt here
