Lactic Acid Heartburn

Do heartburns really come from the heart?

Well, I don’t really have the definition of heartburn myself, I believe I have them because often when I don’t eat my stomach acid goes up to my chest and it hurts, is it a heartburn?

Heart is a muscle, so I really can’t see how it could burn, unless it had lactic acid, but lactic acid is produced when you work out, and then it burns, how can a heartburn be?

So the question is, Do heartburns REALLY come from the heart?

Or are they pains that come from the chest?

Heartburn does not come from the heart. It is dealing with the epigastric or gastric region. The stomach or esophagus. It sounds like you have acid-reflux. You should see a doctor about this beecuase the acid can eat a hole in your esophagus after time of neglecting it.
