Has anyone ever had a hiatal hernia repair done if so did it help?

I have one it causes gagging and pressure after exercise i think im going to die until i burp or throw up a little it sucks does sliding hiatal hernia surgery fix it permanently?

You probably want to go to a doctor and not try to self-diagnose a hernia. It’s easy to confuse that with heartburn, but it does sound to me like you might have one. For what it’s worth, hernias don’t go away on their own – surgery is the only way to repair them.
