Is there something that works for heartburn later in the pregnancy?
I am 35 weeks with twins and I have burns terrible stomach ALL THE TIME. I know it's just part of pregnancy I have to deal with, but there is nothing that helps? I'm only get about three hours of sleep each night for this reason. My doctor gave me a prescription for Pepcid. He worked for a while, but I think my body is used for now or something because it does not work anymore. Any help would be appreciated!
Two home remedies, I heard of heartburn drinking water are thereby diluting acid or eat plain bread, which absorbs the acid. I also heard that eating small meals more often keeps the stomach to get too full and thus cuts down on heartburn. I hope you feel better and best of luck with your twins.
