Anyone else envy the women who make pregnancy look like a breeze?
My friend and I are both 37 weeks pregnant. Of course,we never planned to both get pregnant at the same time,infact it was a mistake for both of us. We often swap ultrasound pictures and talk about our soon to be babies that will be first cousins. (Her brother is my boyfriend)
I have had a rough pregnancy from the start! I stopped taking my antidepressants and soon after the morning sickness started. All the while she seemed to be pleasantly taking the pregnancy thing in stride. She hardly ever puked,barely gained weight and I gained it like a fricken beached whale.
I got the worst heartburn known to mankind and she seemed to slip by that as well. I often told her that I envied her because of this and she giggled.
Some women make it seem so easy. Am I the only one who envies this? lol
I feel your pain. I barely got any morning sickness so I figured I was in the clear. Little did I know… I guess since I didn’t get the nausea my body decided I should get everything else. Well, except for the perks. No big boobs or increased sex drive to make up for the bad stuff. I actually hated to have sex, hated to be intimate at all, never wanted to eat and felt miserable when I did, I’m on my 3rd rash so far (and this one is on my back so I can’t reach it to put lotion on it), I have the worst gas ever, my stomach is HUGE, right now I’m suffering from insomnia, I pee my pants every other day (and they say kegel exercises are supposed to help, but I’ve been doing them faithfully this whole pregnancy), the list goes on and on. I hope through reading about my peril it’s made you feel a bit better
