Heartburn No More

heartburn no more
14 weeks pregnant and need reassurrance…please :0)?

I have period-like cramps, but only on the right side.
I get this sharp, but not severe pain in my hips
I get a pain around my belly button

none is severe. I heard the heartbeat today. No bleeding.

Also, I was doing some gardening. I was lifting things like full bags of yard waste (10-12 lbs) and lawn chairs to move them. Then, the gardening was a lot of beniding and stuff. I’m nauseousI think it’s more heartburn.

Sounds like round ligament pains to me! I got them starting about 13/14 weeks and throughout the second trimester (and somewhat into the third).

As your uterus grows, so does the ligament surrounding it — the round ligament. And, sometimes that really hurts! My midwife said that it’s so bad for some women that they actually think it’s appendicitis. It was never that bad for me, but it was crampy and uncomfortable. However, totally normal — and nothing serious.

If you’re not having bleeding, my guess is that’s what it is. Give your OB/GYN a call if you’re concerned further!

Good luck with your pregnancy!
