why does my heart beat fast?

i have some chest pain, but it doesn’t hurt it just feels weird, and sometimes my chest feels very tight
before i noticed the fast beating heart i took a multi vitamin supplement call one source complete for teens.
my dad said stress might be a cause of it.
one more thing can it be because i have too much gas in my body, because i’ve been suffering from gas and heartburn for a while, but the heart burn is gone now but i still have a lot of gas.

Tell your Dad your really concerned about this and you would like to see a doctor. I doubt it has anything to do with gas, but your having palpitations for some reason. It could very well be anxiety or it could be an over active thyroid problem. But worrying about it is only going to make it worse. I’m sure it’s not serious but it should still be for your doctor to decide.
