lump in stomach-hernia?
i have a lump in my upper stomach like right between my ribs about the size of a half dollar. its been there for several several years and never thought much of it but for the last few months, i have been eating rolaids like candy. constant heartburn. i sometimes have chest pains and my stomach hurts alot. i have been reading about hiatal hernia and i believe this is what i have. my stomach is swelled up like im 7 months preggo but im not pregnant at all. swelling has been like this for about a year or more. wondered if anybody else has experienced this and might could give me some info. thanks in advance..
I have never experienced this but I do know that this sounds pretty serious and you should have it looked at. Call your doctor and when you make the appointment and they ask what is wrong with you, tell them about the swelling and tell them exactly where it is, how big it is, and how long it has been there. tell them if it hurts to the touch or not and about the heartburn. They should make you an appointment as soon as a time frame comes available and you should go to the soonest time available, dont try and make a later appointment.
