Remedies for laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR)?

I have LPR and i want to know what people think are the best remedies or solutions. I have had a very sore throat on my left side for a long time now. I am a speedskater so i have to spend a lot of time bent over, and i’m not going to quit for LPR. I have been put on prilosec and nasonex for excess phlegm but i fdear the nasonex has made my throat hurt on both sides. However now i am heartburn free. I am not overweight and i eat pretty healthy, i also drink only spring water. I seem to be doing the right things but my dry sore throat is not getting better. Does anyone know anything else i could possibly try for LPR? I have also been looking into herbal remedies and such. If there are any good supplements for LPR please let me know. All answers are greatly appreciated! thank you!

Most ways of managing LPR are behavioral.

1. Sleeping with the head of the bed elevated to 30 degrees, either by using two pillows, a foam wedge, or raising the head of the mattress are all very helpful.
2. Don’t eat or drink for 3 hours before bed.
3. Eat smaller, more frequent meals.
4. Avoid spicy foods, caffiene, and alcohol.

The best herbal remedy I’ve found is Vata tea, which is an ayurvedic compound of stomach-settling spices. It is available at mapi.com and is very reasonably priced.
