Since catching the flu last year, I no longer get heartburn. What happened?
I suffered with heartburn for over 10 years. It was a daily occurrence and seemed to be getting more severe. Since catching the flu last year I no longer get heartburn.
Just a theory:
Sometimes heartburn is caused by a bacteria called H. Pylori. You may have been affected by it. Your immune response to the flu may have taken out the H. Pylori in your GI tract as happy collateral damage.
