Heartburn Exercise
I am 15 yrs old. Lately I have been having major problems with heartburn. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
One day I took prevacid which I had been taking for a while. Then over 30 minutes later I ate a peanut butter jelly sandwich, which i didn’t even finish. My acid reflux was really acting up. Later I took zantac because my gastro told me to take it 1 hour before exercise because I had exercise induced heartburn. After I was done running I had the worst acid reflux symptoms i have had in a long time. I got to thinking that I had an allergy or intolerance to wheat. I have already had an upper egd which revealed i didn’t have any disease. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could have?
Yogurt is supposed to help.
