can heartburn be associated with drug abuse?

I have a history of drug abuse, in particular stimulant drugs ( prescription as well as cocaine) and recently I’ve noticed I’ve had heartburn fairly regularly. I have had no dietary changes to account for such frequent heartburn?

If you smoke, it could definately be the cause of your heartburn. You didn’t mention that you did, but I used to smoke and had heartburn and all kinds of other problems from the heartburn until i quit.
