I do not get a lot of heartburn …. what I get is more indigestion, nausea, which comes with my face feeling hot …. is zantac or prilosac good If I have indigestion, nausea? These symptoms GERD? Thank you for any help

Yes, they are symptoms of Gerd. I never had heartburn at first, but I was consistently very nauseous. I had great difficulty swallowing. Some days, my symptoms are worse than others, when I finally my doctor put me on prilosec for about 14 days. He worked at first, but after I stopped taking it, my symptoms returned. I was sent to a Gastroenerologist who have a biopsy and Gerds my worst, I mean really bad. I then went to a nutritionist that helped my change my eating habits (something to eat and what not to eat) I was told all kinds of mint (peppermint, spearmint teas, rescuers or gum, chocolate and caffine, stay clear of it!) One of the things I decided to do for myself was to buy a juicer, I juice 1 / 2 fresh pineapple and a lot of fresh peeled ginger together every day. Somehow this combination rocked my Gerds, my symptoms have decreased a lot I can now drink coffee again for one thing. One thing you want to take note is, what triggers your symptoms. and stay away from this until your condition improves. I hope this helps.
