peptic ulcer, gerd, heartburn, hernia Hiatella?

i have been diagnosed with GERD years, and then few years ago, a herniated Hiatella, now I have a peptic ulcer …. my heartburn comes and goes, but I do 'the throat usually have burning in the chest, usually in the upper part, and mouth … i said to my doctor years ago, and I guess its normal … then someone can tell me all this? I know that the ulcer is the only thing that helps me get rid of burns stomach is Nexium? when I was diagnosed with it a week ago, the dr says I can have a mixture of drugs … inhibitor proton pump, antacids, and …. Does anyone out there have info on this and what medications work best? Prilosec, Prevacid or does not for me …. they even told me to take twice the force if prescription drugs ….. advice?

you best is to continue to take Nexium. Not only does nexium get rid of heartburn, but it helps the stomach erosions. it actually works with secretions acid to stop. I do not know how your ulcer, but if your doctor has not suggested surgery operation to help ulcers he or she thinks that Nexium has a good shot.
