Can people with gastrointestinal problems take spaghetti pasta?

It depends on the problem.

If the person can’t eat gluten, then certainly they can’t eat regular spaghetti pasta. They would need pasta made from something gluten free (I think rice pasta works).

If you’re talking about not just plain pasta, but the red sauce that sometimes accompanies it, this could cause some problems for people with GERD. The tomatoes are acidic, so that can cause some reflux for them.

Just the plain pasta should be fine, though.
