Gastritis Heartburn

I am due to have a gastric bypass at the end of the month, but im having trouble with heartburn?

I had gastritis 6 months ago. Does anyone know whether they will still do the surgery?I am in the UK and having it done on the NHS

I don’t see why not… by the way, I had the surgery 3 1/2 years ago, and I have NEVER had heartburn again, never. and I used to get it alot that is one of many benefits to having it other than weight loss, also i don’t really get stomach viruses anymore, maybe once or twice, but minorly. I think because food doesn’t stay in your stomach long enough to cause a problem.
