does surgery in reflux esophagitis work good?

i used medicines but it did not work

I too have acid reflux disease or Gerd ( gastro esophagal reflux disease). Mine was discovered because I had pains in the chest area the I couldn’t distuish from a heart problem so when the heart tests turned out ok I was examined for acid reflux and that was my problem. Fortunately medicine seems to be controlling my symtoms ok so far after about 3 years so far. I would guess since I’m somewhat familiar with the disease that you have experienced some damage that warrants a surgical solution to repair damage before any leakage problems occur which would cause complications of drainage into your system . In my opinion surgeons are highly skilled in this field and they will have good picture and plan of action prior to any surgery so your chances are quite good that it will provide successful relief though it’s likely you will be continued on the medication for it . Good luck and yes definitely have the surgery .
