Do I still take 40 mg Nexium before an endoscopy in 2 weeks?
In 2 weeks I'm having an endoscopy since I'm gerd. They will check inflammation and other structures in the gastrointestinal system. I was on Nexium for about 2 months now, but I still have symptoms of reflux (heartburn and regurgitation). If I continue taking Nexium for two weeks of the procedure, would it affect the accuracy of the test?
Call the office of the doctor who ordered the test and ask the staff to this issue. It is too important to trust the answers to fix foreign on the Internet.
