Foods Heartburn: Tips

There are many ways to avoid heartburn. Foods, for example, should be part of your prevention plan if you want to reduce your heartburn attacks. Like other conditions, heartburn can be avoided if you eat the right foods that do not cause heartburn and avoid those that worsen your condition.

So what are foods that cause heartburn?

In general, these foods are either acid or difficult to digest. These are the ones that cause often the digestive system to produce acid in the body to churn the food you eat. So here's some food groups you should avoid if you want to avoid heartburn:

– Chocolate
– Coffee
– Peppermint and

– Foods high in fat such as baked butter cookies, brownies, donuts,
– Junk food such as corn chips and potato chips Common ground

On the other hand, here are some safe foods for heartburn, and should be part of your diet heartburn:

– Rich in complex carbohydrates such as bread, cereal, graham crackers food, pretzels
– Apples either the pulp or juice
– Banana
– Baked potato
– Green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, carrots
– Legumes and lentils like green beans and peas
– Low in fat as ground beef and extra lean chicken breast skinless meat
– Egg whites
– Fishing without added fat
dairy products low in fat –
– Low-fat salad dressings and desserts
