Is chest pain a symptom of heartburn?

I had constant heartburn since I Thurs the burning in my throat, regurgitation and chest pain as well. I'm going to make a dr appt tomo but I was wondering if chest pain is a symptom of heartburn. I did not permanently but I get pain in my stomach on the left side of my chest, and below my sternum. I am 19 and healthy, just had a physical a month ago and blood and everything was fine.

Yes, heartburn or acid reflux can cause chest pain. Note that it is called because the pain of heartburn feels like it is in the field of the chest where your heart. Your doctor may give you something to improve your symptoms. In the meantime, try Pepcid or Zantac. Both are specially designed to treat heartburn and they are available over the counter.
