Carbonation And Heartburn

Why do I drink heartburn when I?

I only drink occasionally, about one or two drinks to relax a just me. However, I still have horrible heartburn when I start the second … Why? I do not drink soda ever, then that would be the carbonation? i mainly drink smirnoff and bacardi … never beer. oh .. I thought there was carbonation smirnoff and bacardi .. hmm … interesting. they certainly have a "hard" taste.

I think that has to do with the acid in the stomach. Every time I drink with citrus in it, I still get terrible heartburn on the second glass. Everything else, I'm fine.
