Alka Heartburn Relief Seltzer

Any alternatives to the relief of heartburn, you know?

I have a prescription for burns stomach, but it can only be taken once a day. I was quite sick with chest cold or flu the last few years, so I just ate all that do not require much preparation. Yesterday I ate chicken fingers and eggnog, I do not know if it what I ate or if I had too much of it, but I woke up from sleeping for a few moments in the early evening that need my pill burns stomach and said gas above it. Later that night, had Alka-Seltzer. Normally when I take my heartburn med, I feel better shortly afterwards, but I still feel this morning more than 12 hours later. The last time I ate late yesterday morning. Is there any other solutions you know what I can take my prescription tonight? Should I try new Alka-Seltzer? I'm tired of going to bed for today colds and flu and can not do much else. Thank you to everyone who has the answer and a quiet day!
